
FUT method (FOLLICULAR UNIT EXCISION)
With this method, a strip of 1cm wide is removed under local anesthesia over a length of 12 to 23 cm, it is then micro-cut to allow recovery, bulbs that will be resettled on areas with baldness.
Most practitioners use this method to recover a large quantity by good quality implants.
This technique can cover a larger area of baldness.
The operation is done under local anesthesia which prevents any pain during the procedure, some small tugging can occur as well as a small swelling of the forehead, crusts can form and then disappear later 10 days after surgery.
The patient can observe the final result from 8 months after the operation.
